Melbourne Mobile Physiotherapy
“Delivering premium mobile physiotherapy services across Melbourne”
What is mobile physiotherapy?
We are passionate about helping your clients achieve their goals by bringing our mobile physiotherapy services to them. We understand that travelling to a clinic is not always convenient and sometimes not feasible for people, so our physios come to you. Apart from the convenience of travelling to your clients, we can also assess your clients in their home, allowing us to make specific recommendations and treatment plans that are specific to your client’s home environment.
Our physiotherapists are experts in assessing, identifying and diagnosing a range of conditions. We tailor treatment plans that are individualised to your client’s needs and work with them to achieve goals that are meaningful to them. Our treatment plans can help to improve strength, balance, independence, reduce pain, and restore healthier habits. Our physios are experts in a range of treatment approaches including:
Exercise programs.
Hydrotherapy - ‘water-based exercise’.
‘Hands on’ manual therapy.
Gait aid prescription (e.g. walkers, transfers aids).
Falls prevention programs.
Education and advice (e.g. healthier habits & lifestyle changes).
Reports (e.g. NDIS reports, Homecare reports, TAC plans).
Manual handling training
Training carers.
What is included in home based physiotherapy?
What to expect in your first home physio appointment?
Our physiotherapists take the time to truly understand your clients’ story. Through open and attentive conversations, we learn about their past and current injuries, medical conditions, goals, and personal experiences. We prioritise what matters most to your clients in the short and long term.
Treatment usually will commence during the first appointment, followed by a clear tailored treatment plan going forward. Most importantly, we treat your clients as individuals, valuing their well-being and ensuring they receive personalized care throughout their journey with us.
How do I know if I need physiotherapy and if so, how many sessions?
If you are unsure if your clients need physiotherapy, you are more than welcome to give us a call! Sometimes over the phone we can make a determination if physiotherapy is suitable for your clients, but in other instances we may need to do an initial assessment. Keep in mind that while the primary role of physiotherapy is improving your client’s physical capacity and independence, our physiotherapists can also contribute to the management of psychosocial aspects, which can also lead to improvements in overall health and well-being.
The amount of sessions your client’s need depends on your client’s situation. Our physiotherapist work with your clients, their care team & family members, to develop a suitable treatment plan outlining frequency of sessions and the goals we set out to achieve.
